Radio Links

In wireless radio frequency communication their are two major technologies available: Line of Sight (LoS) and Non Line of Sight (NLOS) radio links. LoS systems need visual sight between the connecting nodes. Typically, directive antennas are used.

Using NLOS radio links, these radios work even when having obstructions, like building between them. Here, NLOS radios are using automatic beam-forming and therefore find the best signal paths by themselves, even without alignment of the devices.
